    So...anyone here into The Residents? Honestly, I wasn't until the last couple of weeks. Oh I had seen the infamous "Man's World" video from the 80's...thought it was very strange and filed it away. But that was 35 years ago and maybe it took me this long to actually appreciate it and the other things I've watched.

    Specifically their take on the Elvis Presley song "Burning Love." The video is up on YouTube, it's basically shadow people wearing huge cowboy hats and wearing asian soms. The lead singer sounds like Les Claypool. The costumes make me think of Genesis in the "Lamb Lies Down On Broadway" era, but maybe on crack cocaine. It's both hard to listen to, but you just can't turn away either. Either way, I'm hooked.
