not sure how else to reach you MRO, you left a message on my BBS
saying it's misconfigured in a couple of ways.

whatever, i do that to a lot of bbses.

I want to fix whatever I've done wrong. So.. :)

If you can find me on IRC (Ltning) it'd be awesome - certainly
want to find out what's wrong!

i'm on irc right now and i dont see you.
do you think there's more than one irc networks possibly?

I'm on efnet, libera, synchronet and a couple of private ones.

Also to talk to my BBS with SyncTERM you'll need to use RAW mode .. otherwise that captcha will get confused :-/

why dont you just fix it so it works? i have a captcha that works.

Would love to. But I am running the last OS/2 release of Synchronet, which has no Telnet support at all. So that captcha is a LUA script running in Nginx, which acts as a stream proxy.

So at the moment, with the tools currently at my disposal, it's the best I can do. If you know a LUA telnetd implementation, I might try to use that to improve the handshaking. I've found a couple but they can't be used in this context.

well it looks like my syncterm by default tries rlogin on any port i provide in the command line. i have an hourly bbs thing on my irc and telegram channel and i just click it from my client and visit them that way.

if i add an entry and choose raw it works.
i tried to get on but got disconnected because it was 'busy' https://i.imgur.com/7XhKe5F.png

you might want to put info in your login screen about changing connection
    type to raw.

and for the other problems, perhaps you could run a telnet daemon on another computer on your network and forward it to your internal os2 bbs?

if you ran a linux or windows version of synch in a vm and forwarded it to your os2 system you would open up a lot of options for security and
    scripting.
