• Setting up door game server

    I'm in the process of setting up a dedicated door game server with Synchronet, using the directions on the Wiki page (which are actually quite helpful!)

    I set up the modopts.ini file as directed so it is supposed to go directly to the door menu. But before it does that, it displays the "splash" screen and also shows the bulletins. How can I stop those from appearing and just have the user go straight to the door menu?

    Does that also turn off Bullseye bulletins? Or is that a separate thing I need to turn off?

    It turns off all the logon event stuff, that includes Bullseye Bulletins. Why, are you seeing something different?

    So I added the line rlogin_xtrn_logon = false to the modopts.ini file (because it didn't exist) and it still displays the logon sequence.

    I did disable the bullseye in the external events by setting the event from "logon" to "no" and that stopped that from displaying.

    But a partial logon sequence runs before sending you to the doors menu.
