  • ANSIVIEW BBS DOOR

    I just set up ANSIview and got it to work with my BBS just fine. It will not connect to the Electronic Chickens BBS to view ANSI files there. Is this no longer available? I uncommented the options in settings.ini in the ansiview directory ;[electronic chicken BBS] and uncomment the rest description, module, cache, and cachettl and I see a message reading and error has occurred press q to quit this module each time I try to view ANSI files on ECBBS. Is there something I am missing? I restarted services and still get this message.

    It seems like echicken has lost interest in bulletin boards. I would
    just remove it from the config.
    You need to comment out everything from [electronic chicken bbs] and
    below upto the next entry or the end of the file.
    You don't need to restart any services. ansiview isn't a service, it's
    a door/external program.
