From Newsgroup: alt.bbs.synchronet

Hello,
I enabled new user email validation when I installed Synchronet BBS. I want to disble it. I followed the wiki here
https://wiki.synchro.net/module:emailval and "email_validation = false" is set under [logon]. Strangley there are 2 [logon] secitons. Any help is
appreciated.

Maybe you're confusing the first [logon] with [login] ?

or you created a second [logon] section and should combine them?

Your right there is a login on logon section, my bad. The "email_validation = false" is in the [logon] section and still requiring an email be sent to the
sysop.

Oh, this is something different. This is something different. If a user doesn't send feedback to the sysop to authenticate their account, it'll get deleted I believe.

Check around the wiki.

That did the trick! I didnt expect that option to be under noptifications.
